AML & KYC Policy

Effective June 1, 2025

Orbit Funding is committed to maintaining a safe, compliant, and trustworthy platform. This policy outlines our approach to identity verification and anti-money laundering (AML) measures. All users are required to comply with these requirements to access full platform functionality.

1. Why We Verify Identity

Identity verification (Know Your Customer, or KYC) is required to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions violations. It also protects our users by ensuring that payouts are sent only to verified, legitimate account holders. We take these obligations seriously as part of responsible platform operations.

2. When KYC Is Required

KYC verification is required before your first profit withdrawal. You may trade and complete challenges without KYC, but withdrawals will be held until verification is approved. We may also request verification at any time if unusual activity is detected.

3. Documents We May Request

  • Proof of identity: a valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driving licence)
  • Proof of address: a recent utility bill, bank statement, or official government document showing your name and address (issued within the last 3 months)
  • Source of funds: in certain cases, we may request information about the source of funds used to pay challenge fees
  • Selfie or liveness check: we may ask you to submit a photo holding your ID or a live video to confirm identity

4. How We Handle Your Documents

All KYC documents are reviewed by our compliance team and handled according to our Privacy Policy. Documents are stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel. We do not share identity documents with third parties except where required by law or where we engage a regulated KYC verification partner.

5. Anti-Money Laundering Controls

  • We monitor transactions for patterns consistent with money laundering or fraud
  • Withdrawals to wallet addresses that differ significantly from deposit sources may require additional review
  • Large or unusual withdrawal requests may trigger enhanced due diligence
  • We screen users and transactions against international sanctions lists (including OFAC, UN, EU, and UK sanctions)
  • Any suspicious activity may be reported to relevant authorities as required by applicable law

6. Multiple Accounts and Abuse

Each user may operate one account on Orbit Funding. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent challenge rules, share performance across accounts, or obtain multiple funded accounts through coordinated activity is strictly prohibited. Accounts found in violation will be terminated and all associated funds may be forfeited.

7. Our Rights

Orbit Funding reserves the right to request additional documentation at any time, to place holds on withdrawals pending verification, and to suspend or permanently close accounts where verification cannot be completed or where we suspect fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.

8. Contact

For questions about your KYC status or this policy, contact us at support@orbit-funding.com. We aim to complete KYC reviews within 2 business days of document submission.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in regulatory requirements. We will notify affected users of material changes via email or platform notification.
